Writing & Real Estate

I write a real estate newsletter that features distinctively designed homes for sale.

I have written for publications such as Curbed.

Substack has featured me as one of "the most interesting independent writers on Substack" and my newsletter has appeared in The New York TimesThe New Yorker, The Today Show, DwellConnecticut Public Radio, and Morning Brew's Sidekick.

I have a real estate salesperson license in California (DRE #02203068), but I'm not working with a brokerage and don't engage in any sales-related activities.

Product & Design

I am currently on a sabbatical from design work.

I have been a product designer for 12 years- working as an early designer at small- to medium-sized startups where I help companies go from 0-to-1 and then figure out what's next.

I teach part-time at Carnegie Mellon University. I work as a design mentor for designers as part of the capstone class for the Master's in Educational Technology and Applied Learning Science program in the Human-Computer Interaction Institute.

I've given talks and workshops at universities, conferences, and design group events like AIGA.
